I'm also a fan of the amazing girl-to-woman transformation that we all go through. The world needs more kindness, absolutely. I am 100 percent anti-bullying, and I love that part of this social media campaign encourages people to be nicer to each other. The message is equally simple: You should be nice to ugly kids because you never know if one day they'll end up hot. The caption reads "be careful who you call ugly," and people are often including stories about how they were humiliated and bullied when they were younger. The idea is simple: You post a "before" picture of yourself during your awkward, ugly stage and then an "after" showing how beautiful you turned out. And now this movie plot staple is making the jump into real life with the Be Careful Who You Bully Challenge. And with good reason - who doesn't love a good Cinderella transformation story? Girl (and it's usually a girl) is ugly and mercilessly bullied, girl grows up, girl becomes beautiful woman, everyone who was mean to her is sorry, end scene. The ugly duckling cliche is a tale as old as, well, tales.
